Be polite and objective! If someone says they're cool with anonymous crit, that is not an invitation to be unfriendly. No one likes a Diamond Tiara! If you have something negative to say about somebody else's playing, make your points politely and suggest ways to improve. To give an example:
X - Unhelpful Diamond Tiara - "Jeez, Terri, can you learn to type? You've got about a billion typos in your posts!"
O - Helpful Not Diamond Tiara - "Hi, Terri, I noticed you have a number of typos in your posts. Something you might want to do is give your posts that one last look-over before hitting submit. It would really help with readability!"

I got reimu here as well as my OC Fennel Famicorn. I am planning to app Asagi Asagiri this weekend too(I would have earlier, but stuff happened which I will explain below)
First off, I want to say, I am really sorry for how much I have slowed down in the past few months. I used to be able to tag at work, and did a lot there... but I got caught, and dreamwidth has been blocked(along with many other sites) Now I can only tag at home, or sometimes at work through my phone. As such, I don't get as much time, and I mis tags a lot because of this. I am really trying to get a good system going, and if anyone has any suggestions on how to not miss tags, that would be great.
Othere then that, I would love some input on my Reimu, or my Fennel. I want to play a bit better, and your guys input helps that.
What system are you using at the moment? I personally find that just sending everything to one gmail account with a label for a character works well for me.
I send it all to my personal G-mail account. I did try putting a filter so all Dreamwidth stuff goes in 1 folder, like I did for livejournal, but for some reason it doesn't work I guess it sees each user as different, unlike Live Journal.
Fennel's pretty good, and I don't really have any problems with her.
As far as Reimu... I can't really put this into words as well as I'd want, so I'm not sure if it's just me or not. I can definitely get a sense of her personality in your tags, but her voice doesn't seem to gel?
Maybe it's just because of the intrinsic dangers of playing a character in a series that has fanslations ranging from "awkward" to "Bitch, get out of the way", but I see a lot more of Reimu's actual personality in her actions than in her dialogue; she comes across as kind of flat when she talks, and not in a really intentional-seeming way?
That is a problem I can understand. Reimu, as with most touhous, have many ways they could be played. I myself play reimu very... indifferent a lot of the time. What I mean is I try to play her middle of the 2 extremes I see in fanon. Perhaps though that comes off as flat. Any suggestions maybe to fix that?
I'm not quite sure, as I'm still not sure where I'm sensing it from; it's much more a general vibe I get. It might be in sentence structure - for someone rather indifferent about things, she comes off as kind of wordy? It might be the lack of contractions drawing things out, or the fact that occasionally sentences run on. It just comes off a little stiffer and more formal than I'm expecting to hear, I guess.
Hmm I see. Indifferent may have been a poor word. Reimu I suppose views everyone the same way in a sense, so I try to have her treat everyone the same way. Run on sentences are my fault though, and I will try to do better at that.
I guess reimu outside of an incident is not seen as much in canon works, so it's hard to pull from what she does normally. I mainly have the written works to use. Still, I will try to improve to get a stronger less stiff voice for her.
