HOW'S MY DRIVING?

Hello, Equestrians! Its time for a game-wide HMD!

Here's how it works:

  1. Post your name, along with what character(s) you play.
  2. If you want, specify particular areas you would like feedback on! (It's okay to ask for just general feedback!)
  3. Indicate whether or not you're okay with anonymous feedback. (It's totally cool if you don't.) You can also post links to your character's personal HMD if you'd prefer comments there.
  4. Reply to other people telling them how you think they are doing.
  5. Be polite and objective! If someone says they're cool with anonymous crit, that is not an invitation to be unfriendly. No one likes a Diamond Tiara!
If you have something negative to say about somebody else's playing, make your points politely and suggest ways to improve. To give an example:
    • X - Unhelpful Diamond Tiara - "Jeez, Terri, can you learn to type? You've got about a billion typos in your posts!"
    • O - Helpful Not Diamond Tiara - "Hi, Terri, I noticed you have a number of typos in your posts. Something you might want to do is give your posts that one last look-over before hitting submit. It would really help with readability!"
  6. ?????
  7. PROFIT

You don't have to post your own characters to give other people feedback! You don't have to post your characters at all if you don't want to. It is 100% OPTIONAL. If you do post, we would encourage you to give feedback to at least one other person!

Flattery is welcome just as much as concrit!

I'm not trying to defend Riki any here, but having played a Twilight of my own, let me say that it's a dangerous dance, keeping things balanced with a sparklebutt. She wants to learn, and in a panfandom game, she'll be given opportunities to learn. Throw in the whole Element of Magic thing and she can learn, which ends up with her ending up in a kinda overpowered Power Copier state without even meaning to be.

It's even more exaggerated when she's now got two panfandoms under her belt with Mayfield and MLJ; that said I think there's something to be said about willingly refraining from giving her power that she doesn't need to work for. As an example, the Kamen Rider/SMT4 stuff might be a smidge excessive, I feel, but at the same time, the things Lucifer taught her are less overwhelming because she's still expending effort and energy TO learn them.

That is true. That's mainly why I wanted to give Riki a warning. I didn't mean it as an attack. Just more of a concern.

It wasn't an attack. I certainly didn't take it that way, so don't worry about that. Both of you are right, though; the freebies are a bit much and I'll keep a tighter lid on them. Let Twi get things the Twilight way: enough study/exposure that she picks up on it herself.

That said, Chrysalis snapping will happen some time after the event; April's quiet enough that there won't be much interference

Well, the other thing about the Kamen Rider power she has is that it's just as much Princess Twilight's as Maylight's; that strongly interferes with its usability.

Yeah, I was discussing that with Riki actually and that's less blatant since it's... pretty blatantly situational at best and really might as well be an upgrade they need to spend active time studying anyway.

Particularly because Magiranger. What is having to say stuff and/or to use magic.
