Hello, everybody. Ni, Terri, and Lu here for a very big, very important announcement!

Two years ago, we set out to make a game for everyone, based in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. After a multitude of adventures, friendship moments, and finding out what the heck was up with that statue at the very first Grand Galloping Gala, we’re nearing the end. Characters have unlocked the secret of what - or rather who - Calice is: a Twilight Sparkle who suffered under the Corruption. They’ve also discovered a way to combat that Corruption within Twilight: Friendship. Every time the Elements of Harmony have been activated for a character who learns a lesson about friendship and rises to be potentially worthy of alicornhood, that has strengthened Twilight Sparkle, helping her fight back against the Corruption.

Characters have also been in contact with the Pale Pony. Some have traveled to the past to witness the epic battle between Celestia and Star Swirl. Still others have worked to unite the various factions of the world - Diamond Dog, Griffon, and Changeling alike - in harmony. Two newpony alicorns have appeared, one bringing down a seemingly unstoppable foe and the other cracking the mysterious barrier out in the Everfree Forest with their ascensions.

(If you would like your characters to investigate what cracked out there, please just let the mods know. We will be happy to NPC for you as you go to investigate, though we would ask that you get a group together if you're going to head out that way. Just to save on too much repetition!)

The Pale Pony said the Tree of Harmony would appear in MLJ’s Equestria when the time was right. That time is now.

We will be going through end game for the next several months at MLJ, starting at the end of August and wrapping up in October. What does this mean for characters? There will be a final push to raise the stakes and get everyone focused on bringing down the Corruption once and for all.

The Pale Pony, while still elusive, will be aiming to assist with this effort. To that end, she will be appearing to characters (any character) who have previously apped into MLJ and who have dropped in their home realities where they have been sent. Her message will be brief, but to the point:

‘We are bringing Calice and the Corruption to an end. Will you help us?’

To that end, anyone wishing to rejoin for end-game may do so. This is ONLY open to previously-apped characters. New characters must still be apped as usual. Additional to this, there will be a few OOC adjustments

The monthly Activity Check will now be a monthly check-in. Just give a shout to let us know you’re still there with your characters and we’ll keep you on the Taken list.

While recent events have prompted this particular timeline, we have been prepared for endgame for roughly half a year. We’re so proud and grateful to all of our players and we want to make sure everyone has the resolution they’d like with endgame.

Following Andrew’s Groundhog’s Day-esque plot, we will be starting end-game in earnest. Once the game has come to its conclusion, our forums will remain open to all members and visitors as a sandbox to play in. The mechanics for how this sandbox will work will come closer to the conclusion of end-game.

It does not! There may be as many versions of a character as were previously apped.

You may still canon update characters, but it must be done before September 26th!

Q: When is endgame starting?
A: End-game starts now. We would ask that you rejoin the comms, but your characters may simply appear. There will be no reapping process for previously app'd characters. Endgame starts IN EARNEST on September 26th

Q: Do we have to do anything special, like an app or anything, or just... appear?
A: They will simply appear with the knowledge that the Pale Pony brought them back and that the reckoning for Calice and the Corruption is coming soon.

Q: What is the process of coming back with a previously apped character?
A: Simply rejoin the comms with those characters and begin posting. These characters will have limited knowledge. But they will know what the Pale Pony told them. Characters may begin appearing immediately, but the in thrust of Endgame will not begin until after Andrew's plot on September 26th.

Q: Is the 5 character limit still in effect?
A: To an extent. You may bring characters over this limit if they were previously app'd.

Would or could Twilight, as an SN, not receive the Pale Pony's note and just be back from her world diplomacy tour?

Yes, they may! We would ask that you limit the team, once more to 5 members total, though.

And one more question: I have 3 characters in the game right now. If I bring back The Flutters, Hiro Nakamura, would I be able to also bring back Mami Tomoe?

Apps remain open for characters who have not been in game before. They will remain open until September 26th!

May I suggest possibly a mass OOC post for all of us who've returned with characters to post who we've returned as so we don't flood the OOC comm/push this announcement post off of the main page?

Additionally, a mass IC log, for all the returners to reappear with their knowledge to cut back on the mass repetition of people returning with the knowledge they have?
