Hello, Equestrians! Are you ready? This is not my beautiful house! This is not my beautiful wife! Nightmare Night is the annual celebration of Nightmare Moon's imprisonment, and it is celebrated through thrills, chills, and candy every year! And naturally, nothing beats putting on a costume and pretending to be somepony else, if only for one night. But...suppose somepony decided to take the idea of being somepony else a little too far? What if, instead of just putting on a costume and pretending, you suddenly woke up and were another pony? Literally? Really? Actually? Entirely? Completely? No take-backsies time twenty? If your first thought was "DISCORD! DID YOU DO THIS?!"...chances are, you're probably correct. And regardless of who's responsible, they're not changing you back until the holiday's over. Not that many ponies seem to believe anything's even wrong... PLOT INFORMATION For wibbly wobbly timey wimey-ness reasons, the events of the this part of the mod plot will canonically happen October 30th - November 1st. Yes, its a body swap event for Nightmare Night, which you will probably get to blame Discord for! Ponies are being switched with one another, from the lowest to the highest! And yes - this includes NPCs, whom players can switch with! Any player who wants to switch with any given NPC will need to respond below in the appropriate thread; the characters that will switch with said NPCs will be decided by RNG. EDIT: THIS IS NOW AN OPTIONAL EFFECT. For those who don't get switched with anyone, no worries - they can still participate in the madness. Unaffected characters (save, of course, for Discord) will be under their own spell of not believing that any switching has happened. Characters who try to proclaim they have been switched will just be laughed off, or passed off as acting weirder than normal. Because masses of ponies claiming they're really somepony else is totally normal on Nightmare Night! Feel free to plot below; we're putting this up early so everyone can get their switching plans done ahead of time! So, in closing: If you have any questions/comments/concerns, feel free to post about them here! (Ah, and one more thing. PICTURE CREDITS FOR RARITY AND SPIKE! While Tails does have a persona, it's tied to his soul so whoever switches with him likely won't have access to his. But if your character has a persona, they are free to use the Evoker if they wish.

He's had experience with body swapping before (as he switched with a different Yu back in DDD), but if he switches with a girl like Reimi, he might have a minor freak-out.

Coco has a precure item so that's free for use.

She may or may not have a freak-out depending on who she switches with.

TLDR; Coco is open and possible Tails if he's not switching with Reimi.

Would it be okay for Yggy to eventually bypass the effects and possibly offer an opportunity to have the swapped characters speak in their own voices?

I understand if you feel this would ruin the effect, but it also has the potential to make this worse.

All three of my characters are available for switching. Otherwise I'm entering them into RNG.

Don't be afraid to ask if our characters have little to no CR. In fact, you are encouraged all the more! I would prefer for them to swap with characters they don't interact with as often.

Wally comes with super speed, a secret ID and costume, a nice cloud house and puppy, and a huge appetite.
Doctor comes with with whatever his latest inventions are, a cardboard box, a sonic screwdriver for scanning stuff, a new sense for time and space, possibly telepathy, and best of all a love for fezes and bowties.
Pippin comes with a sword and armor, a big appetite, small stature, and homework because he's been going to school.

I've got an earth pony and a unicorn on offer: the lying cheating jerkface who's far too quick to violence, and the nerdy superhero.

Strong Bad...well, his power is inexplicably making things stick like glue to his hooves so he can sort of use them like hands. It's the 'typing with boxing gloves on' power. He has a horrible reputation around town, though.

And Billy is a unicorn, though his magic is best at lifting and powering mechanical devices. He's also not-so-secretly a Power Ranger, with a buckle trinket that gives him spandex and super strength.

So Marty is going to switch bodies with Cameron, and is going to spend most of his time being angry at his lack of fingers and angry at Cameron (because Cameron is totally going to try pretending to be Marty and IT'S SO WEIRD WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS CAMERON). Will unicorn magic colors change between a unicorn and another pony/changeling/dragon/whatever?

For example; If Rarity were to switch bodies with Applejack, would AJ-in-Rarity's body magic color remain blue or would it turn into another color like green?

When the bodyswap happens, where will each person/pony end up?

Say a pony is asleep at the time the swap happens. Will they wake up in their room, but with another pony's body, or will they find themselves waking up where the pony they switched with was?

Allen/Margulis/Alastor/David

Allen is currently open for swapping. His body comes with questionably human durability, astral projection (leaving the body itself asleep), a tendency to be un-noticed unless you draw attention to yourself and a Persona on top of the typical unicorn magic. His magic aura is green. Ideally I'd like to see him swapped with someone who will figure out how to use his powers and realize how potentially useful they could be.

Margulis is reserved for someone who was just accepted today, because the awkwardness of it will be too fantastic to pass up.

Alastor is available, with the caveat that you may end up a sword for a while if you don't catch on quick about how to maintain a magically created body. Package deal includes generic awesome demon powers of enhanced physical abilities, powerful weather magic, some shapeshifting, general magic abilities that can be used to replicate unicorn spells (with a purple aura) and a V-watch that gives him a sweet cape and VFX powers. May also include the ability to break reality via abuse of the fourth wall and the rules of cool and funny. Or, well, it would include all this if he wasn't still worn out and going to be worse soon. But we'll see what happens.

David is available provided he doesn't get the RNG to swap with an NPC. His body comes with a mecha suit and a magic T-shirt. And...uh...it's in really good shape? Look, even I can play normals sometimes.
