Hello, Equestrians! Are you ready? ...The property is known and described as follows: ALL that certain tract of land situate in Ponyville, Equestria, to be bounded and described as follows:... It's no secret that Tom Shanks dislikes the off-worlders. Why? Nopony knows, though his opinion is shared by a small but powerful minority in Canterlot's elite. He's powerful and influential, enough so that he's Applewood's undisputed king, and the current owner of the venerable Hoovesweek. However, he's been delivered a blow. His movie, Quest for Canterlot, wasn't exactly the success he tried to make it out to be. In fact, it flopped, and flopped hard, and you couldn't give away a copy of the reels without being laughed out. But in spite of this unfortunate setback, Tom Shanks won't let who he thinks responsible get away with it. If he can't convince the populace about how the new residents Ponyville's harboring really are dangerous, and shouldn't be living there, through his company's words, he was going to do so through action...and through the power of the law! PLOT INFORMATION For wibbly wobbly timey wimey-ness reasons, the events of this mod plot will canonically happen August 16th-22nd. That's right, the whole week! This one is straightforward: Tom Shanks is at it again, and it's up the the characters to stop him! At the beginning of the week, Tom Shanks will announce what he's been up to on the scrolls. What, exactly? Well, if anyone remembers what Tom Shanks did to Hoovesweek, it will be very easy to figure out that Tom Shanks is using legal loopholes to obtain something. Exactly what will be revealed on Sunday! After that, an open log will be put up, which will be the main thrust against Tom Shanks' machinations. However, everyone will have a chance for their characters to pitch in, sell their wares and help thwart Tom's dastardly plans in their own ways, in their own posts or logs, if they so choose! Put those cutie marks and abilities, to work for the greater good, raise some bits and save something very important to the off-worlders from Tom Shanks' hooves! And who knows - if everypony works together and succeeds, something amazing just might happen! Or, at the very least, somepony can figure out why in the world Tom Shanks dislikes off-worlders so much. Feel free to plot below; we're putting this up early so everyone can plan out what they're doing ahead of time! Sure, have Naomi here. Her skills are towards healing so there's not much she could actually contribute in terms of wares... except for papercrafts. She has some other skills too that could be used, but come here and let's do some plotting.

Saori, of course, will be selling teas and rice courtesy of her powers. And of course there's nothing like free samples to entice the buyers. Teas to sample and her homemade Inari sushi. She may sell more of her infamous hot sauce but that's assuming there are locals with such a heat tolerance....

EDIT: I had a stupid but crazy idea of Saori holding a curry eating contest or something.

It goes without saying that Pinkie and Woona, both being business owners will fundraise through the use of the museum and the hot springs, being that there is room for a bakesale as well as bonuses if you bring groups of people to the springs.

Littlepip's definitely going to help and is extremely able to. She's the current owner of Funny Bunny Games, so her helping gain money through her stores will be of great help.

Nephenee will be doing her best to raise bits as well, with selling wares and produce from the commune, as well as handcrafted things and food. Also, if anypony wants it, she'll be offering bodyguard and delivery services, and overall working her tail and feathers off.

Reimi will be probably making flower arrangements and lots of food and tea for people, and helping who she can overall.

Kafei would swear up and down that he has nothing to offer, but if there's one thing he knows, it's masks. So he'll probably be making those, because clearly we need more after the masquerade. ...Your terrible, maskless heathens.

AJ sells her apples and apple accessories, as she usually does. Doc's good at making timepieces and other novelties.

And, uh...Strobro will be cheering you all on.

Don will be selling the few televisions he's managed to make, as well as the coffee machines he's made.

Homura will be selling the chairs, instead of giving them away.

Minako will be street performing for money!

Andrew can make death machines useful farm implements and other inventions! Or he can help others with their business ventures, maybe automate making some kind of craft. Do ponies need candles? He could make a death machine with wax candle making machine. Or similar.

Yang doesn't really have any craft-related skills that I'm aware of and I'm probably going to be on hiatus for a good part of this plot but she'll help out in whatever other ways she can.

Ruby will handle the day-to-day dealings at the candy store currently/previously run by Bon Bon and her parents, but Sweetie Drops will be helping out in her own way too! She'll blend in behind the scenes and help out whenever possible! Rainbow Dash...will do her best to support Applejack when it comes to her apples. XD;

Zecora, of course, has her brews and potions.

Rainbow Dash will run deliveries for everything that she can.

Oh yeah, Justin is totally in on this and by doing the one thing he does best. Adventuring! If anyone's got anywhere dangerous you could find a lot of bits buried, then you can bet your bottom hoof he'll be dashing off to explore!
