Quick Organization Thingy

For those going with Celestia to pillage a castle, this is a really quick planning post to help organize my thoughts and what is going to come out of this, as well as figuring out how the log itself is going to be set up.

At the end of the day, there will be two major revelations:
1. Zetta set up a double for himself in the castle. There will be a fight with said double before its discovered he is a changeling.
2. Said changeling will reveal that nothing they are looking for is actually there, and that Zetta saw this coming. It turns out there is an information leak that he has been working with for quite a long time.

However, I need help with actually getting to the end of that day and organizing the log. As much as I'd like a huge massive battle against this double, I've got upwards of twelve characters wanting to go and that many characters in a single thread is just not a thing anyone wants to deal with. Nothing gets done, people get lost, tags get ignored, it's all a mess. So, I've come up with a few alternate ways to handle the log.

1. I knock the group size down to four, including Celestia. The mission is stealth-based, and everypony goes in sneakily. I could be persuaded to do it with eight and have two groups, but only one will fight "Zetta", and the other will discover the absence of the stores and/or the leak.
2. The log will include everypony who wants to go, but the mission is changed to a more classic pirate raid. Instead of one central thread, there are many smaller groups of 2-3 each all entering at different points in the castle, each looting everything that isn't nailed down, sometimes coming into contact with other groups, all that fun stuff. I don't know how I'd handle the fight with this, however. I'd need help figuring that out.

So tl;dr what I need is a quick head count of who wants in, how you'd prefer to do this, and suggestions of anything I can change to make this thing less of a complete mess.

As I said on plurk, Coco will want to go with if Kreutzer is going (she doesn't want to have marefriend die on her again).

Coco wouldn't mind either option, but I personally prefer 2 as that feels a little more fair for everyone. I would understand though if you end up with 1, as having a ton of characters in one log would be overwhelming I would know, seeing as I dropped the bomb a bit with the Timberwolf fight.

If things get too complicated, I have no problem sitting out to lessen the amount of characters. Celestia will just owe him, like, five drinks.

If we go with option one, I'd say Nephenee would be in the leak/stores group. She's not about to try to take on Zetta shorthoofed.

If option two ends up being it, I'll sit it out. As you said, Nephenee is a classic goody-two(four?)-shoes/hero type, she won't be up for pure looting. On either, Reimi is too busy being chased.

I can sit out, if needed. I'd rather an organized small group instead of all the people.

That said, I'd prefer the first option. Celestia seems to prefer that option anyway and if anything, the guns can start blazing if/when they get caught.

If you wanted to connect this pillage to the effort to save Zetta's captives, we could do that with the pillage potentially serving as a distraction while those saving the captives sneak in.

I previously posted this scroll by "Wondrous Bolt" about saving the captives. Should we play out the attempts to save the captives separately or would you like to do it together on your newest log?

From what I heard from Dragon, the captives are not in fact at Zetta's castle, so this operation will mostly be a bust. There's not much need to join in.

Okay. In that case, we'll keep it separate.

If Celestia and her pillage companions find out anything about where the captives are maybe someone could announce their discovery? (That they're not there and and hints they find about where they might actually be.)

The changeling that the raid will capture will accidentally blab the location of a secure spot deeper in the forest which is strongly implied to be the location of the captives.

OOCly, though, this is another layer of deception -- there's another changeling there, also pretending to be Zetta.
