Hello, Equestrians! Are you ready? Everypony Will Shine! Every several years, in celebration of harmony and world peace, the countries and cities of Equestria gather for the grandest of all competitions and sports: The Equestrian Games. Held once every four years, these games are a source of pride for both the lands which participate, and for the city which hosts it. And this year, the Games will be held in the grandest of all places. The Crystal Empire, once lost to the curse of a tyrant, has won the prestigious honor of hosting the games for the first time in history. Naturally, this, combined with the participation of the newponies (whether some may like it or not), means that this year's Equestria Games will be the most talked about, most competitive, and most unpredictable, sports event of the summer, if not just in general. Now, its all about bringing home the gold - and the glory - and nothing can top that feeling! PLOT INFORMATION For wibbly wobbly timey wimey-ness reasons, the events of the this part of the mod plot will canonically happen August 1st - August 16th.. That's right - all 16 days! As already mentioned, in the previous mod post, there are currently sign-ups for several sports that everyone can participate in! These sign-ups end on August 8th, and characters will need to be actively participating for a better chance to win big! And of course, Discord will be nullifying any advantageous powers to make an even playing field amuse himself, so don't even think about depending on your flash steps and super strength to carry you through the day! For those who don't wish to have their characters participate in the Games themselves, there are still plenty of things to do in the Crystal Empire, as also outlined in the mod post. Of course, for those not interested in going to the Games, the Canterlot Library Basement is still open, so if you haven't gotten a chance to get your characters down there, now's the time - it closes September 20th! There's also Twilight Sparkle's expedition in Stalliongrad, if your pony's up for some investigating and history! There are plenty of choices - and the choice is yours! After all, its not like anything terrible is lurking in the background, right?...The head mod is going on vacation, so. Right?... SUPER-QUICK EXTRA ANNOUNCEMENT! Yes, speaking of vacations, Ni will be on vacationiatus* starting on August 3rd, and will not be returning to mod duties until August 15th, as she will be without internet for the very vast majority of that time.
